ChemicalSalicylic Acid is applied in a pad to produce local controlled tissue breakdown.
The dressing needs to be kept in place for 3-5 days before being removed. The dressing needs to be kept dry. Several applications are necessary. |
CryotherapyThis involves freezing the verruca or wart with Nitrous Oxide gas.
You don't usually need a dressing. This usually needs to be done 3 or 4 times before a result is seen. |
NeedlingA Local Anaesthetic injection is used to numb the desired area.
A Sterile needle is used to puncture the Verruca several times. A dressing is applied. Results are often seen after 6 months. |
